Programme
The Textile Research Division (TRD) of the National Research Centre (NRC)
Cairo, Egypt, is organising a three-
day International Conference on April 6 – 8 (2008) at the main conference
hall at the NRC. The conference is
multidisciplinary and global with participation of leading international
scientists, R&D institutions, top level
industrial managment, industrialists as well as business representatives.
The conference provides a unique
forum to discuss the latests trends, technological advancements and
innovations in textile processing and
impact of all this on business opportunities taking into consideration
the social, economical and ecological
requirements.

Themes
The conference dicusses globaly the latest R&D
activities and technological achievements as well as future
developments in the area of textile prcessing. The conference
will provide plenary lectures, oral and poster
presentations along with commercial exhibitions. Fields to be

Call For Abstracts & Full Papers
Abstract
All those wishing to contribute to the conference are kindly
invited to submit an abstract which could include the
title, authors, mailing address and e-mail address as well as text
of not more than 250 words along with a brief
CV of the corresponding author. The abstract should be prepared in
English as an MS word document, applying
font 12 Times New Roman. Single spacing e-mailed to the conference
secretariat. Deadline for receiving
abstract is November 15th 2007.
The book of abstracts should be handed out to all registered
participants during conference registration

Presentation of Material Submitted For Fifth International Conference of Textile
Research Division

- The full paper should be sent to
the conference secretariat not latter than 15th January 2008.
- Invited papers are normally around
30 A4 pages in size. Authors should adopt the approved format.
Manuscripts
It should be submitted in duplicate (hard copy) or by e-mail, and on
one side only. A 2.5 cm margin should be
left on the left and right sides of all pages.
- Title should
be brief, followed by name, affiliation; address, country, and postal code (zip)
of author (s). Indicate to whom correspondence and proofs should be sent.
- Include not
more than 250-word abstract, keywords.
- Spelling should
be consistent throughout the text and according to the Oxford dictionary.
- The typical
length of papers is up to 30 pages. Word-processing package (words 97 or word 2000
or word XP), using font 14 of Times New Roman
for the text, the title of the paper is 16 bold, the author’s name
and affiliation is 13, subtitles are written using 14 bold and
sub-subtitles are written using 14 bold/italic.
- Symbols: a list
of symbols used and their meaning should be included if a large number of symbols
appear in the text.
Units
SI units must be used, or at least given as equivalents. Whenever traditional
units or yarn counts are quoted,
the equivalent in text must also be given in parentheses.
Tables
Tables-number consecutively typed and numbered on a separate page.
Please use arabic numerals and
supply headings. Column headings should be explanatory and carry units.
Since tables are more expensive to
reproduce than running text, their use should be limited to extreme
necessity and brought to minimum.
Reference in the text should be given to indicate the most suitable
place for including the tables.
References Journal and book reference should be identified in the text by enclosing in brackets and should be numbered in order. Literature references should be listed at the end of manuscript, using following style: A. Polson, "Title", BioChem. Biophys. Acta, 19, 53, (1959).
In the text, the reference appears by the number, e. g; (1). References to books must be included the name of author, title, publisher, city, date of publication and page, as follow:
R. N. Sherve, “the chemical process industries” McGraw-Hill Book Company inc., New-york, p. 81 (1945).

will be on display throughout the conference days. Material to fix posters will
be available at the
conference secretariat
Exhibition & Advertisement
A multidisciplinary exhibition
will be held in parallel with the conference. Areas in the exhibition are available
against $ 250/m2. There will also be an opportunity for companies to advertise
their names and products to the
world by sponsoring the conference
